1. GENERAL PROVISIONS
- These Terms and Conditions govern all bookings and services provided and by ATX Travel & Tours.
- ATX Travel & Tours reserves the right to amend or update these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Any such changes shall be effective immediately upon posting on our official website or communication channels.
- By confirming a reservation and making a payment to our account, the Client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and accepted these Terms and Conditions in full.
2. BOOKING, PAYMENT, AND CONFIRMATION
- All tours and arrangements must be booked at least one (1) to two (2) months before the tour date.
- Bookings made less than one (1) month before the tour are subject to final confirmation.
- A 5000.00 per person non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking.
- Remaining balance is payable on arrival.
- We can only accept cash on arrival, Should you wish to pay other than cash, we advise to pay a day in advance.
- For Cards, E-Wallet (GCash, Paymaya), QRPh and Bank Transfer, Payment must be completed within 24 hours upon receipt of the booking order.
- Payments can be made through our official website using accepted gateways such as QRPh, GCash, PayMaya, Debit/Credit Cards, Paypal or Bank Transfer.
- Booking order will be sent to the provided billing email address.
- All prices are quoted in Philippine Pesos (₱) and are subject to change without prior notice due to currency fluctuations, tax adjustments, or supplier rate changes.
- ATX Travel and Tours will only recognize payments made through official payment channels.
- Note that some banks or payment platforms may charge transaction fees.
- Securing a reservation with payment constitutes full acceptance of our Terms and Conditions.
3. TOUR RESCHEDULING, CANCELLATION, AND REFUND POLICY
3.1 Operator-Initiated Cancellations
ATX Travel & Tours reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any tour due to typhoons, rough seas, travel bans, unfavorable weather conditions, unforeseen events, or failure to meet the minimum number of participants required for the tour to proceed.
In such cases, affected guests will be entitled to rebooking without charge or a full refund, subject to the circumstances and applicable policy. See schedule below:
3.2 Guest-Initiated Cancellations
All cancellations or change requests must be submitted in writing. Applicable charges shall be based on the schedule below.
3.3 Force Majeure
Refunds are allowed only if the event is canceled due to typhoons, rough seas, fires, travel bans, force majeure, or other unforeseen circumstances, subject to our existing cancellation and rebooking policy.

3.4 Refund
All confirmed bookings are considered guaranteed bookings. Refunds are processed according to the existing policy.

If a refund is approved the amount will be processed and credit to your nominated account.
Please allow 3–10 business days for the refund to reflect on your bank or card statement, depending on your bank’s processing time.
Refunds will be processed less applicable payment gateway/transactions and or currency exchange fees

4. VALIDITY OF PRICE
- All published rates are based on current prices and subject to change without prior notice due to currency fluctuations, government taxes, or cost increases beyond ATX Travel & Tours’ control.
- Once a booking confirmation has been issued, prices are guaranteed against surcharges.
- ATX Travel & Tours reserves the right to alter routes, itineraries, or departure times due to weather or unforeseen conditions.
- Any additional expenses incurred due to flight changes or delays shall be borne by the guest.
- Joiner tours are subject to a 10 minimum number of participants. Prices may adjust if participation falls below the required minimum.
5. LOCAL PURCHASES
ATX Travel & Tours is not responsible for any local purchases (e.g., jewelry, food, or souvenirs) made by guests. The quality, authenticity, and value of such items cannot be guaranteed. Guests are responsible for any import duties or freight charges incurred.
6. ACCOMMODATIONS
- ATX Travel & Tours acts solely as a booking facilitator for accommodations and is not the owner or operator of such facilities.
- All accommodations are subject to each provider’s house rules and check-in/check-out policies.
Standard check-in: 2:00 PM
Standard check-out: 12:00 NN
Early check-in is subject to availability and may incur surcharges.
- Loss or damage of hotel property (keys, towels, linens, minibar consumption, etc.) is chargeable to the guest.
- Provided accommodation types may include basic tents (for island stays) or hostel-type rooms (shared bathrooms). Guests may opt to book their own accommodations in Balabac, provided the location is serviceable for tour operations.
- Room or campsite assignments for joiner/shared tours depend on availability and booking order. Because of this, it’s possible you may not be placed in the same campsite or hostel as other joiners. However, all joiners will share the same dinner and breakfast location regardless of accommodation assignments.
7. TRANSPORT SERVICES
- Van and Boat transfers are publicly shared services. This means that additional passengers may be picked up along the route, and travel times may vary depending on these stops.
- Guests who prefer a fully private transfer may upgrade to a private vehicle or boat for an additional fee, subject to availability.
- If you wish, you may also opt out of our transfer service entirely and arrange your own transportation based on your preferred provider and schedule.
8. TOUR GUIDES AND CONDUCT
- Tour guides and facilitators are responsible for providing information, orientation, and coordination during tours. They are not personal assistants. Guests must handle their own belongings and luggage.
- Guests are expected to treat guides and staff with respect and decency. Any form of verbal abuse, discrimination, or disruptive behavior toward staff or fellow guests will result in tour termination without refund.
- ATX Travel & Tours reserves the right to refuse service or remove any participant who poses a threat to safety, violates itinerary rules, or behaves inappropriately.
9. HEALTH AND PHYSICAL FITNESS
- Guests must be physically fit and in good health to join tours, which may involve long land and sea travel, swimming, and other physical activities.
- Consult a physician prior to travel if necessary.
- ATX Travel & Tours is not liable for any injury, accident, or health-related issue arising from participation in tour activities.
- Guests with existing medical conditions must inform the company before booking.
10. LIABILITY DISCLAIMER
ATX Travel & Tours acts in good faith as an agent for third-party suppliers (hotels, transport providers, catering services, etc.) and shall not be held liable for:
- Any breach of contract, negligence, delay, injury, accident, loss, or damage caused by such third-party suppliers;
- Acts of nature, force majeure, mechanical failures, weather disturbances, strikes, social unrest, government restrictions, or any circumstances beyond reasonable control.
ATX Travel & Tours is not responsible for flight, van, or boat delays and cancellations. The concerned third-party providers bear full responsibility for such occurrences.
In the event of trip cancellations due to official government advisories or weather-related restrictions, any costs incurred for special trips or chartered/private arrangements shall be borne entirely by the guest.
Unused tour services are subject to the applicable cancellation and refund policy.
Guests are responsible for their personal belongings at all times.
11. SPECIAL SERVICE REQUESTS
- Guests with dietary restrictions are advised that meals generally consist of rice, seafood, meats, salads, fruits, and drinks. Special meals cannot be guaranteed; guests are encouraged to bring their own food if necessary.
- Special requests (e.g., specific accommodations, arrangements) must be made in writing at the time of booking and are subject to availability.
12. TRAVEL AND ARRIVAL REMINDER
To ensure your tour proceeds smoothly, all guests must adhere to the following travel and arrival guidelines:
Recommended Flights & Timing – Onward Trip:
- Your arrival flight into Puerto Princesa (for non-connecting or multicity itineraries) should land at least 2 hours before the scheduled travel time to Balabac. Preferably, arrive the day prior.
- Be ready for pick-up between 2:00 AM and 3:00 AM on Day 1 of the tour.
Return Flight Timing:
- The return flight should not depart earlier than 5:00 PM.
- The estimated arrival back in Puerto Princesa (after the tour) is between 2:00 PM and 3:00 PM.
- Booking a return flight earlier than 5:00 PM is strongly discouraged as delays, weather, or travel conditions may cause you to miss your flight.
Luggage Allowance:
- Travel light — only 7 to 10 kilograms per passenger are permitted. This is to ensure safe and comfortable transportation for all guests. However, you’re welcome to bring your luggage with you. If you have extra/excess bags, we can send them directly to your hostel to make your island trip lighter and more comfortable.
Liability & No-Show Risks:
- Delays due to traffic, transportation issues, weather, or flight disruptions are outside our control.
- If you miss your pick-up or scheduled departure due to late arrival, you may bear responsibility for any associated loss or additional costs.
- We reserve the right to modify the itinerary or impose alternate arrangements if guests fail to arrive on time.
13. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any disputes arising hereunder shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the proper courts of the Philippines.
14. CONFIDENTIALITY
All booking details, client data, and correspondence are private and confidential. Disclosure to any unauthorized third party is strictly prohibited.
15. ACCEPTANCE
Securing a reservation and making payment to ATX Travel & Tours’ official account(s) signifies the Client’s full understanding and acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
