BALABAC: Everyday Tours with Onok Overnight Stay (3D2N & 4D3N)

No. The Onok Island overnight stay is subject to availability and must be secured at least one week before your trip. If it is unavailable, you may choose a full refund or continue the tour with an alternative island stay at Bancalaan Island. 

If the overnight stay on Onok Island cannot be secured, you can choose between a full refund or proceeding with the tour with an alternative overnight stay at Bancalaan Island. Our team will coordinate with you regarding the available options.

Pickup is available at your hotel or the designated pickup point in Puerto Princesa, including the airport, subject to coordination. Pickup is usually between 2:00 AM and 3:00 AM. Please arrive on time and provide your accommodation details or flight information in advance.

Your group scheduled to depart Balabac early on the last day and return to Puerto Princesa at approximately 2:00 PM–3:00 PM. Arrival times may change due to sea conditions, road travel, and other unforeseen circumstances. We recommend allowing sufficient time before booking your onward flight.

Accommodation may include an overnight stay at Bancalaan Island and Onok Island in a shared tent or room.

Facilities are basic, especially on the islands, and room or campsite assignments are subject to availability. Accommodation upgrades may be available for an additional fee, depending on availability. 

Yes. The package may includes breakfasts, lunches, and dinners. Meals generally consist of rice, seafood, meat, vegetables, and other locally prepared dishes. Special dietary arrangements are not guaranteed, so guests with strict dietary requirements should bring suitable alternatives.

We currently don’t provide special meal arrangements. Our tours serve freshly prepared local dishes — typically rice, seafood, meats, grilled items, vegetables, and fruits. If you have specific dietary restrictions or preferences, we encourage you to bring your own food or snacks to ensure your comfort during the trip.

The tour may be suitable for adventurous families and senior travelers who are physically fit and comfortable with basic facilities, boat transfers, swimming, and walking. However, the itinerary can be physically demanding. Please inform us of any mobility limitations or special requirements before booking so we can help assess suitability.

Yes! Solo travelers are welcome to join our Shared Tour, where you can explore Balabac and meet fellow travelers. Please note that the Shared Tour requires a minimum of 10 participants to proceed.

Bring swimwear, a towel, sunscreen, insect repellent, toiletries, personal medication, a reusable water bottle, a waterproof bag, snorkeling gear, power banks, and sufficient cash. Long sleeves and long pants are highly recommended to protect against sandflies, especially at dusk and dawn. Travel light and pack a separate small bag for your first two island nights.

Balabac is a remote destination with limited facilities. There are no banks or ATMs, so bring enough cash for personal expenses. Mobile signal and internet access are limited, and electricity may be restricted on the islands. Bring power banks and prepare for limited connectivity.

We recommend traveling light, ideally with approximately 15–20 kg of luggage per passenger. Prepare a small bag containing essentials for the first two island nights. Larger luggage arrangements can be coordinated with our team, and excess bags may be sent ahead to your Balabac town accommodation, subject to logistics.

Safety comes first. The itinerary may be adjusted if there are rough seas, bad weather, travel restrictions, or inaccessible islands. If the trip is canceled due to a typhoon, unsafe sea conditions, or other force majeure events, rescheduling or refunds will be handled according to our applicable terms and cancellation policy.

Yes, upgrades may be available for an additional fee, subject to availability and prior coordination. A private van upgrade may be arranged for transfers, while room upgrades depend on the accommodation available during your trip. 

No. Airfare and accommodation in Puerto Princesa before or after the tour are not included unless specifically stated in your booking. We recommend arriving in Puerto Princesa the day before the tour to avoid missing the early-morning pickup.

Choose your preferred departure date and package option, complete the booking details, and follow the payment instructions in your booking email. Payment is required within 24 hours of receiving the booking email. Your reservation is officially confirmed once payment has been verified by our team.

Cancellations within 7 days before the tour are not allowed under the package's stated policy. Rescheduling must be coordinated with your tour coordinator, and additional fees may apply. Please review our full Terms and Conditions and Cancellation Policy before booking.

Please respect local communities and traditions, dress appropriately in town, follow your guide's instructions, dispose of waste properly, and protect marine life and coral reefs. Alcohol and drugs, fireworks, making fires, excessive noise, and other prohibited activities are not allowed under the package rules.

Expect basic accommodation, limited electricity, simple facilities, and occasional changes to the itinerary. The reward is experiencing beautiful beaches, turquoise waters, and a more rustic island escape.
